Nothingness. This word describes quite well what I feel I have accomplished since my last post as well as my desire to update my blog.
One of the downfalls of my blog has been the fact that Facebook has made uploading photos and video much easier than on Blogger. I can upload twenty pictures and add comments to my Facebook page in the same amount of time I add five pictures to my blog. So my blog has fallen victim to Facebook as well as my lack of motivation.
With the exception of framing in one wall inside of the barn for a horse stall, I haven't done anything at all on any of my outstanding projects. It seems as though I haven't done much of anything since last fall, but in reality I have had a lot of things going on. In November we took Thane to San Diego to go to Lego Land as well as the Wild Animal Park and Sea World. We had planned to go in March of last year but due to the timing of our local volcano we had to postpone it until November. I have to say that it was nice to relax in some warm weather in November.
Sandi and Thane spent two weeks over Christmas in Lander Wyoming and them I flew down on New Years Eve and met them in Denver so we could spend a week in Cheyenne with her Mom and Grandpa.
I bought a new snowmachine for this season and have been praying for snow (and lots of it) since the end of October. What I have gotten is the least amount of snow we've had in years! I think I rode about 1600 miles last year compared to 600 miles this season. That is one of the reasons I haven't posted any pictures of riding this year. So due to the lack of snow and even greater lack of motivation to do any carpentry in the cold, I decided to embark on a different sort of adventure.
