We have named the virus that we are all taking turns with the "Moose Flu". So far everyone here has had it, Sandi's dad Chris got it a few days after we got here, then Tim yesterday and today is Stefani's turn.
Not to let a little stomach virus get in the way we had lobster tonight! It was amazing, I bought four pounds of steamer clams and six lobster for $56. It is so great to cover the table with newspaper and just make a mess!
It has rained cats and dogs all day, Boston was supposed to get three to six inches today. I don't know what we got here but it is still raining and the streams are full and some peoples yards are disappearing.
One of the things I have a hard time with here is that there isn't much open space and there aren't any landmarks so my sense of direction is all screwed up. For one the roads through the towns aren't straight (they are very windy) and you will sometimes go through what looks like a side street through a residential neighborhood then right onto the interstate. I guess since most of the roads used to be wagon roads that got paved I understand why they are the way they are, but that doesn't help my sense of direction.
So for now I am lost somewhere in Maine.....

Maine in the Fall......
We stole away to Maine for ten days to visit Sandi's dad and take advantage of the seventy degree weather they are having here. Unfortunately Sandi and I both ate something on the way that gave us food poisoning, so we were both sick (and I mean SICK!)all day yesterday. The long flight (12 hours of flying), three hours of driving, and a four hour time change are enough to exhaust a person, but we were lucky enough to be sick on top of all of that!
I was expecting beautiful fall colors but we are a little early and everything is still green. The weather is great so I think I am going to go lay in the grass in the sun.....
